OCHRI geared to embark NABH surveillance audit

Nagpur based Orange City Hospital & Research Institute (OCHRI) is a hospital which is continually improving the health care delivery system. NABH had granted FULL accreditation to OCHRI wherein they will now display Mark of excellence- NABH Accredited Hospital.  National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation program for healthcare organizations. The uniqueness of this NABH endorsement lay in the fact that OCHRI ventured to proceed directly for attainment of FULL accreditation without going through customary entry level channel in single stroke with no re-inspection which was an historic accomplishment for a 150 bedded multi-super speciality hospital with varied scope of services & specialities with a large panel of doctors.

Various quality teams under diligent specialists undertake regular surveillance and keep a check on the compliance of quality protocols at OCHRI.

The hospital is now gearing up for the forthcoming NABH surveillance audit in 2 months. OCHRI which has been ranked 1st best hospital in Nagpur city twice consecutively in the national surveys done by The week magazine for the years 2017 and 2018 has been applauded by many organisations for their indigenous quality control methodologies that has led to its recognition as central India’s trusted hospital.

In a meeting held to review quality adherence; Dr. Vidya Nair, Director- Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited who heads the quality division has implored all OCHRI consultants and staff to reaffirm their commitment to earnestly follow laid down quality protocols so that OCHRI continues in its mission to render quality health to all incoming needy central Indians. She thanked all OCHRI family members for supporting all quality initiatives and anticipated similar cooperation for the forthcoming NABH surveillance audit.
