Manja injured 32 year old rushed to OCHRI

One 32-year-old male resident of Narendra Nagar, Nagpur was rushed to Orange City Hospital & Research Institute (a unit of Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited), Nagpur around 9.30am on 15.01.2020. He had Alleged history of Multiple cut injuries on Right Side of Neck due to Manja with profuse bleeding and Lacerated wound on Left hand thumb and fingers sustained around 9am at Manewada Square, Nagpur while going on a two wheeler.

Dr. Noorul Ameen and Dr. Deepak Kore immediately attended in OCHRI Casualty and stabilized him. On detailed examination, His Provisional diagnosis was noted to be Alleged history of Incised wound Right Side of Neck with Severe bleeding with Lacerated wound thumb, Middle Finger and Index finger on Left Hand with Flexor Tendon Tear of Thumb. He was admitted under care of Dr. Darshan Rewanwar- OCHRI Plastic Surgeon and was immediately rushed to Operation theatre for emergency surgical management.

He underwent Neck exploration & wound reconstruction of Neck with repair of Flexor Tendon Left Thumb and wound suturing & repair of Left Middle Finger & Index Finger by Dr. Darshan Rewanwar. Dr. Smita Harkare provided necessary anesthesia and Sr. Nisha Ashok assisted them.

Patient is presently stable and undergoing treatment in OCHRI ICU as informed by OCHRI Director Dr. Anup Marar. MLC has been sent to P.S. Bajaj Nagar.
