OCHRI Keralite nursing staff sacrificed their Onam Kerala visits observing the need in city ISO certified and fully NABH accredited Orange City Hospital & Research Institute owned by Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited boasts of more than150 doctors serving needy central Indians through 60 departments and 30 clinics since last 25 years.
During their 25 years of round the clock service; OCHRI has gained distinct identity and goodwill not only due to their 3 tier hierarchical order of
doctors and availability of round the clock qualified Critical Care Intensivists; but also due to the exemplary personalized nursing care
provided by their majority of Keralite nursing staff. OCHRI has always ensured a sizeable presence of Keralite nursing staff who are known for
their dedication and sincere nursing care. OCHRI has made a separate nursing hostel to accommodate their Keralite nursing staff.
Onam, the annual harvest festival of the state of Kerala is celebrated with great pomp and gaiety by Malayalis across the world. This a novel Hindu
festival which is celebrated and enjoyed by every religion in Kerala. The grand festivities and gala of this ancient festival eliminates all the
religious disparities and propagates harmony in society. All citizens across religions have a meal together which signifies the communion of brothers and sisters irrespective of faith and beliefs.
Most of the Keralite across world usually try to go back to their home towns to join in the state celebration. However, Keralite nursing staff of OCHRI
decided to stay back in their duty considering the anticipated 3rd Covid wave and also the incoming non Covid patients who required their presence.
Hearing about this proactive decision, ex- Nagpur Guardian Minister Shri.Chandrashekhar Bawankule specifically paid a courtesy visit to OCHRI
for personally conveying his Onam wishes to the Keralite staff members and thanked them for their sacrifice in the interest of needy central Indians
who are daily reaching OCHRI for solace. He prayed in OCHRI Lord Ganesh Temple and stated that OCHRI Keralite staff members have personified the spirit of Onam and blessed them good health and happiness.
