Smt.Pramilatai Medhe, 88-year-old female, resident of Devi Ahilya Mandir, Dhantoli, Nagpur was admitted in Orange City Hospital & Research Institute on 06.10.2017 around 2:30 PM. She is the former Pramukh Sanchalika of Rashtra Sevika Samiti.
She has history of fall at home today afternoon. After fall she had complaints of inability to walk with painful restricted movement Right leg. She was shown to Dr. Ashutosh Apte, Orthopedic Surgeon. Investigation showed signs of Impacted Fracture Neck Femur Right. In view of her allied co-morbid conditions like Hypertension and Ischemic Heart Disease ; Dr. Ashutosh Apte interacted with Dr.Anup Marar, OCHRI Director and referred her to OCHRI for admission and surgical management. Accordingly, she is presently admitted under care of Dr. Ashutosh Apte- Orthopedic Surgeon and supported by Dr. Nikhil Balankhe- Critical Care Physician at OCHRI. Dr. Smita Harkare, Dr. Neeta Deshpande, Dr. Anita Pande are the Anesthetists. Dr.Anit Prakash is Section Coordinator while Dr.Kavita Dhurvey will be assisting Dr.Ashutosh Apte as SMO I/c- Surgery. Dr.Noorul Ameen and Smt.Priya Sashi coordinated the admission process at OCHRI while Dr.Milind Pande, Dr.Nishikant Lokhande and Dr.Prashant Shende are ensuring timely diagnostics and imaging services.
Her vitals are presently stable and subject to Physician and Anesthetist fitness assessment; she will be posted for surgery on 07.10.2017.
