Smt.Girija Bapat, wife of Hon’ble Shri.Girish Bapat, MLA , Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Food and Drugs Administration, Parliamentary Affairs , Government of Maharashtra recently paid a courtesy visit to Nagpur based Orange City Hospital & Research Institute to check the well being of mother of one lady police official based at Pune. The Pune based family had come down to Nagpur for a marriage ceremony and her mother suffered a massive brain stroke. Accordingly she was directed by their relatives to OCHRI for desired emergency treatment and she is presently recouping and shifted from Critical Care Unit to Wards. She is being treated by Dr.Rajesh Atal, Critical Care Physician, Dr.Pramod Giri, Neurosurgeon, Dr.Ketan Chaturvedi & Dr.Vasant Dhangra, Neurologists leading team of Intensivists namely Dr.Ganesh Bure, Dr.Ashish Shukla, Dr.Rani Lakhe, Dr.Anwar Ali Tyeb, Dr.Santosh Gadge, Dr.Umesh Thorat, Dr.Parag Patil, Dr.Roshan Jawlekar, Dr.Saurabh Phatak and SMO Incharge Dr.Anit Prakash along with Dr.Sanil Koyili, Physiotherapist. On this visit, Dr.Usha Nair, Director, Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited presented Smt.Girija Bapat with a book on Nagpur and a copy of Bhagwat Geeta. Prominently present on this occasion were Dr.Anup Marar, Director, OCHRI and Shri. Parag Saraf.
Smt.Girija Bapat commended the efforts of TEAM OCHRI and conveyed that it is very creditable that TEAM OCHRI made an outsider comfortable, provides solace and garnered confidence. The caring proactive outlook of TEAM OCHRI made the Pune based family to defer their earlier decision of shifting the patient to Pune by Air ambulance. Smt.Girija Bapat conveyed her appreciation on behalf of Salunkhe and Khandkar families of Pune.
