OCHRI’s Agli Peedhi successfully undertaken at Bhavan’s

Orange City Hospital & Research Institute is not a corporate hospital but a hospital which is investing the amount back to society by pursuing various social commitments with a missionary zeal. OCHRI is involved in many medico-social commitment of city in form of conducting school health check up camps, cancer screening camps, regular speciality camps etc. OCHRI is worthy of being endorsed as the brand ambassador of central Indian health care sector.

Recently a team of OCHRI doctors conducted a preventive health Check up camp for students and teachers at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s BP Vidya & Bal Mandir, Trimurti Nagar, Nagpur. This is a continuation of last year’s initiative which was conducted in many schools. A general health check-up camp was carried out to facilitate early detection of deficiencies and general health of children.

Team of OCHRI doctors comprised of Dr. Ashish Shukla, Dr. Noorul Ameen,  Dr. Rohan Bansal, Dr.Deepak Dongre, Dr. Shubhangi Chaudhary, Dr. Pravin Sahu, Dr. Mumtaz Choudhary, Dr. Rozina, Dr.Madhuri Likhitkar, Dr. Sneha Lambat, Dr. Pravin, Dr. Ruchika, Dr. Amit and Dr. Shirayu. They also addressed various medical issues like general health, hygiene, lifestyle diseases etc. Sr. Kajal and Sr. Darshana assisted the doctors and Mr. Vijay Tiwari coordinated the camp.

Commenting on this initiative Dr. Anup Marar, Director-OCHRI said, “As a Corporate Social Responsibility, under the name and style of “Agli Pidhee”, OCHRI regularly organize the pediatric outreach health activities which includes School Health Surveys. These camps ultimately help in reducing morbidity & mortality in student groups as well as local community. In addition, regular school health examinations help to build a sound and sustainable foundation for student’s future. Under this program, School Health Checkup is being regularly conducted on a campaign basis by a team of medical officers every year.
