As part of their venture to aid senior citizens of Nagpur, OCHRI has announced its subsidized Eye Consultancy camp for month of January 2016 from 10 am to 1 pm in Eye OPD, OCHRI. Moreover, subsidized cataract removal with IOL implant through phaco-emulsification method (suture less surgery) will also be provided to needy senior citizens with no co-morbid conditions and uncomplicated cataract @Rs.7000/- per eye only during this month long surgical camp. This package charges is inclusive of lens, operation and hospital charges. This peerless undertaking will be provided by renowned Ophthalmologist Dr.Abhay Agashe. OCHRI Department of Ophthalmology is one of most advanced eye units and has gained immense goodwill in central India. It also regularly undertakes similar camps as part of their mission to remove blindness.
