Orange City Hospital & Research Institute was officially associated in a recently held World Orange Festival at Nagpur by providing emergency ambulances as part of Mega Carnival Parade held on 17.12.2017. World Orange festival was a celebration of art, food, music, culture & everything that is Orange. In this Mega Festival Carnival Parade, OCHRI’s well decorated ambulance was part of Parade, which started from Aath Rasta Square passing from various prominent routes of Nagpur and ended at Mankapur Indoor Stadium.
As on date Nagpur based Orange City Hospital & Research Institute which has been recently ranked 1st best of Nagpur in India’s best hospital list vide The Week- Nielsen National survey 2017; has the privilege of ensuring maximum number of specialists and super specialists under one roof in a private health care Institution of Central India outside any medical colleges. OCHRI is not a corporate hospital but a hospital which follows a unique working model is investing the amount back to society by continually improving the health care delivery system along with its varied charitable activities. OCHRI had even won “India’s Best General Hospital” Title at ICICI Lombard- CNBC TV18 India Health Care Awards under the aegis of RSBY award for outstanding Service to the community. OCHRI was one of the 27 hospitals selected out of 3500 hospitals all over India. OCHRI was also official medical service provider for ICC T20 WC at Nagpur. It is worth mentioning that OCHRI was the only private hospital in Maharashtra to start well equipped GPS enabled EMS service for Nagpur long back in 2007. Accordingly, it was natural on part of Organisers to have recognized OCHRI which is signature hospital of “Orange City” to represent health care of the city in the carnival parade.
