OCHRI CCU Clinical Conclave every Wednesday

Dr. Nikhil Balanke, Sr. Critical Care Physician- OCHRI, has initiated a weekly clinical discussion forum under the insignia of Siddhi for CCU doctors on every Wednesday mornings in Jaivik Hall.

On this occasion Dr. Nikhil Balankhe informed that “The ultimate aim is to raise the level of critical care practice in the region and to develop future leaders in the field of critical care. As part of good practice policy, these clinical discussion forums serve an educational role as well help in designing innovative patient management policies.”

Dr. Rajesh Atal, Critical Care Specialist – OCHRI added that “In recent years there has been significant growth in multidisciplinary team working in field of Critical Care as a result of increasing specialization and advances in medical technologies. At OCHRI; all patients admitted in Critical Care Unit ( CCU) Complex automatically get the unique advantage of having the expert inputs of around 8 specialists even though patients is admitted under one specialist and such brainstorming on weekly basis on various complicated cases help us to come out with good ethical treatment plans.”
