Kalyani Nursing School

Nursing is one of the noblest health professions which functions in conjunction with other health care agencies in assisting individuals, families and communities to achieve and maintain desirable standards of health. We believe in the concept that Health is a state of complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well being and not merely the absence of infirmity. We hope to initiate a recognized program providing a comprehensive and sound foundation in the behavioral, life and nursing sciences for the general practice of nursing. We are interested to share the responsibility in helping the students to develop pride in their profession.

“The very first requirement in a hospital is that it should do the sick no harm.”

Orthodoxy, ignorance, poverty and age old traditions are preventing Indian girls and women from devoting sufficient time & energy to study. Therefore the course of ANM (revised MPHW) is designed for girls & women who were not able to complete their higher education. Nowadays almost all girls are educated up to 12th standard but could not get higher education due to varied reasons. This ANM education will enable them to use their intelligence & skill for those people who are sick as they will help the families and society at large for prevention of diseases so as to live healthful living.
